Pr Nicolas Isambert, a medical oncologist, joined the Poitiers University Hospital in September 2019. He is the Head of the Medical Oncology Unit and the Head of the Cancerology Department of Poitiers University Hospital. He has expertise in the design, management, and analysis of early-phase clinical trials. He directed the CLIP2 platform (Early Phase INCa — French National Cancer Institute — labeled Centers) at the Georges François Leclerc Center in Dijon for ten years and set up the Department of Therapeutic Innovations / Translational Research in Oncology and Haematology (DITTOH) at the Poitiers University Hospital (CIC INSERM 1402) (application for CLIP2 label in 2024). He is an expert in breast cancer, which frequently leads to brain metastases. Its research activity is at once clinical, translational, and fundamental.
